Today, with this website, we are proud to present you our effort in bringing you the experience of a professional tennis player wrapped in an online distributed video game, which name will be Full Ace. This project is the result of several years of frustration as a tennis fan and a video games player. Therefore, it will provide everything one got used to expect in a tennis game: full length matches, exhibitions, tournaments and a career mode. Of course, an online mode is also planned. Nonetheless, we think what matters most is gameplay. In order to provide a maximum diversity of situations, we will use the most realistic physics model to compute ball movement, including spin influence. More than that, we intend to provide a game that really puts you in charge of what matters in professional tennis: positioning, timing, anticipation, risk management, and strategy. Full Ace is developed for Windows. Linux and Mac versions should follow shortly though. Using all the displaying power of computers isn’t our priority, so Full Ace should be playable on a GeForce 2/3, PIII 800 MHz PC or better. A joypad shouldn’t be mandatory, but highly recommended for best experience. Here you will find all the information about our progress. Right now several screenshots of stadiums are available by clicking on the “Screenshots” menu entry. More news, screenshots, then videos and demos will follow in time. |
